OK - so there are the traditional free hosts like Geocities and Prohosting etc. But the last few years have seen an explosion of a new publishing format for websites, namely weblogs or blogs.
What is a blog?
Well most succinctly, a blog is a website where entries are usually displayed by date with the most recent content on the site or “posts” are displayed first. Typically blogs are based on software that allow easy publishing of content to the web. That means you don’t have to know much about the web to publish content.
